We will be holding a work party of Saturday 21st November 2026, meet at the Grow Inn at 10:15am for a brew and we will start at 10:30am.
TASKS —
1)…work on weeding the area to the left as you enter the site with the aim of preparing for planting with pollinators
2)…The Shredder will be out, if you have any dry vegetation (less than 25mm diameter) bring it down and we will show you how the shredder works…
3)…Bleaching the Grow Inn flagged area, to remove green and make the area cleaner, less slippy
4)…..Weeding some of the verges adjacent to the car park and entrance, with the aim of planting these up with flowers in the spring to make the site more attractive visually as you drive in.
5)…. Possibly some more trellis erection
6)… Cider Press move, if the new plinths are installed
SO WE NEED ….. Volunteers, trowels to dig weeds, spades to dig weeds, brushes to brush bleach around, possibly a jetwash, someone to make tea. Someone to call it finished at 1pm
